Public Relations
Appalachian State University’s Department of Communication seeks TWO Assistant/Associate Professors in Public Relations, beginning August 2010. An earned doctorate in Communication or related field is preferred and is required for tenure-track appointment. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will teach in the undergraduate Public Relations curriculum. Other responsibilities include teaching departmental core courses as needed, advising students, maintaining a program of scholarly activity, and participating in departmental, university, and professional service. Journalism/New Media Position
